Disney's The Lion King

You will never forget the theatrical event that is Disney's internationally celebrated musical THE LION KING. Brilliantly reimagined by acclaimed director Julie Taymor, Disney's beloved film has been transformed into a spectacular stage production that explodes with glorious colours, stunning effects and enchanting music. At its heart is the powerful and moving story of Simba - the epic adventure of his journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands.

Please note: Children under 3 years of age are not permitted to enter the Lyceum Theatre. The Lion King is recommended for ages 6 and up. All persons aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own within the auditorium. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

1. If you test positive for COVID-19, display symptoms, or are asked to isolate by NHS Test and Trace you can exchange your tickets.
2. If the show is cancelled due to COVID-19 or any other reason, you will be offered a free exchange or refund.
3. If the show is going ahead and you are able to attend, there will be no exchange or refund available.

The running time for The Lion King is 2 hours and 30 minutes including one interval.
Strobe lighting is used several times during the performance.

You will receive a confirmation email. If you have chosen collect at box office please print the confirmation and bring on the day, a minimum of 30 minutes before the performance start time. If you have chosen e-tickets you will receive them by email which you can print at home.

As a reassurance measure, the venue have requested that all customers kindly bring evidence of a negative covid test result using a NHS lateral flow or PCR COVID test that has been taken within 48 hours of the show time or proof of FULL Vaccination (first and second dose) . This applies to all guests over the age of 18 years and includes fully vaccinated guests. 

Please arrive 60-90 minutes prior to the event start time to aid with the safe movement of customers around the venue.
